„Die 1993 fertiggestellte Bayerische Staatskanzlei verbindet symbolträchtig Altes mit Neuem. Die aus einem Kompromiss heraus gefundene Lösung, den Kuppelbau des alten Armeemuseums als zentralen Bestandteil der Staatskanzlei zu verwenden, verleiht dem Gebäude seinen besonderen Charme. Und genau diesen Charme hat der Fotograf auf dem Bild festgehalten. Der altehrwürdige Bau dominiert die Bildmitte, an ihn reihen sich luftig leicht wirkende Glasfronten.“
